AMATEUR EXTRA LICENSE CLASSES
Hawaii Emergency Radio Operators
will host classes for anyone interested in upgrading their license to the
Amateur Extra Class FCC Amateur Radio License.
Current FCC General Class Amateur Radio License Is Required.
The class will be held over 16 weeks, 1 day each week, 2 hours each session.
This class is designed to prepare you for the FCC Amateur Extra Class Amateur Radio license examination.
In-Person Examinations for the FCC Amateur Radio license will be offered right after the classes conclude.
The examination fee is $12
The class is free but the purchase of the ARRL Extra Class License Manual, 12th Edition, used in the class is REQUIRED. It may be purchased from Amazon, or the ARRL.
The manual can also be purchased directly from the instructor, contact us for information.
