At this time the KH6ERO Weather Station is the only active radiation monitoring station in the entire state of Hawaii. The KH6ERO Weather Station geiger counter measures levels of Alpha, Beta, and Gama radiation in the environment. Our readings are transmitted to the Radiation Network every minute throughout the day to be shown on their nationwide map of radiation monitoring stations.
